#CREATING A CLOUD NATIVE DIGITAL WORLD FOR LEADING BRANDS

At Groundfog we design, build, and operate AWS based solutions for our customers.

Our cloud engineers build serverless applications in AWS using services like AWS Lambda, AWS DynamoDB, AWS S3, AWS CloudFront, and AWS EventBridge.

We build applications from web crawlers to GraphQL API, mostly made with either NodeJS/TypeScript or Go. For deployments, we use Terraform and Gitlab.

#YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Designing and delivering cloud-native applications
• Working in a highly distributed team
• Working with agile software development methodologies
• Shaping the technical expertise of the company in the Data and Machine Learning area
• Driving innovation and eager to learn and build bleeding edge cloud solutions

#SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Skilled in at least one major programming language (like Javascript, TypeScript, Go, Python, Java)
• Modern software engineering methods and tools (Git, CI/CD)
• Experience in Machine Learning and/or Natural Language Processing
• Experienced with at least one of the major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and willing to learn about the others
• Relevant project experience in an Agile project setup
• Fluent in English

#NICE TO HAVE SKILLS

• Familiar with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CloudFormation
• Experience with serverless architectures, API management, and cloud databases
• Knowledge of container deployment models and platforms (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Software testing methodologies like unit testing
• A skipper license for our sailing trips ;)
