A TYPICAL DAY
- Work alongside a senior QA to develop test cases based on user stories and specifications
- Executing the tests you have designed on web pages and cloud-native applications
Reporting defects - Communicating with your team and other colleagues through Slack and Google Meet
YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Asking and learning how the technical solution works
- Becoming an autonomous member of the team
- Finding the best approach to test user stories together with your senior colleague
- Raising bugs and following up on the resolution
- Helping the on-time and successful completion of the development work
- Working in a highly distributed and multi-national team (πͺπΈ,π©πͺ,π§πͺ,π·π΄,πΉπ·,π₯³)
- Working with agile software development methodologies
YOUR PROFILE
- Previous experience in QA role (any industry) - preferably 1 year+
- You are passionate about technology, particularly the QA sector
- You have basic knowledge of testing methodologies
- You are curious and want to understand how software components work
- You are not afraid to speak your mind and openly ask questions
- You are honest and open to feedback but not afraid to express your point of view assertively
- You have a willingness to build on your current knowledge
- You have excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS
- Knowledge of compatibility testing and tools
- Knowledge of API testing and tools
- A skipper license for our sailing trips or a pilot license to get us there π
