A TYPICAL DAY

  • Work alongside a senior QA to develop test cases based on user stories and specifications
  • Executing the tests you have designed on web pages and cloud-native applications
    Reporting defects
  • Communicating with your team and other colleagues through Slack and Google Meet

YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Asking and learning how the technical solution works
  • Becoming an autonomous member of the team
  • Finding the best approach to test user stories together with your senior colleague
  • Raising bugs and following up on the resolution
  • Helping the on-time and successful completion of the development work
  • Working in a highly distributed and multi-national team (πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Έ,πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ,πŸ‡§πŸ‡ͺ,πŸ‡·πŸ‡΄,πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡·,πŸ₯³)
  • Working with agile software development methodologies

YOUR PROFILE

  • Previous experience in QA role (any industry) - preferably 1 year+
  • You are passionate about technology, particularly the QA sector
  • You have basic knowledge of testing methodologies
  • You are curious and want to understand how software components work
  • You are not afraid to speak your mind and openly ask questions
  • You are honest and open to feedback but not afraid to express your point of view assertively
  • You have a willingness to build on your current knowledge
  • You have excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); German is a plus

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS

  • Knowledge of compatibility testing and tools
  • Knowledge of API testing and tools
  • A skipper license for our sailing trips or a pilot license to get us there πŸ˜‰
